I received a safety recall notice that states that Honda will be replacing the fuel pump due to "improper production". Honda is refusing to replace the fuel pump. They are now stating that they only need to test the pump even though the recall is very clear that it is to be replaced.

The alarm and key fob system has a defect, causing me to lose my vehicle via theft. Police and insurance adjuster informed me that Honda CRV’s such as mine are vulnerable to key fob cloning and silent theft. This happened to me on December 4, 2025, between 4:56-4:59am

The shutter grille and shutter grill harness was faulty and had a short in it. It needed to be completely removed and replaced. The rear camera on my 2024 CRV is totally useless if it rains or snows, the picture is so distorted you can't tell if a vehicle or person is behind you. This has caused me to not totally trust this feature even in clear weather. Thank goodness this has not caused any incidents when I'm backing up, but it is very nerve wracking. I mentioned this at the dealership when I first bought my car but I guess there is nothing they can do. My last car was a Subaru Outback and the camera was excellent, even in bad weather. Please have Honda do something about this dangerous situation.

The sunroof of my CR-V spontaneously exploded. I was driving on a two lane road and was not near an underpass. There were no vehicles directly in front of me. No objects were found inside the vehicle after the glass shattered. The sunroof made a popping sound and then the glass shattered. The glass blew into the car and onto myself and my passenger. I was able to slowly pull over the vehicle onto a side road. Neither my passenger, nor I, were injured by the glass. This incident could have impacted not only our safety, with the glass coming directly into the car, but could have affected the safety of any oncoming traffic if I had not controlled the vehicle. The glass could have also affected any vehicles directly behind us. I was not on a highway, but if I was, my speed would have been greater and the impact potentially more severe. I had the vehicle towed to the Honda dealer. Honda has replaced the sunroof. The Honda dealer that the vehicle was taken to has not had any other complaints about spontaneously exploding sunroofs.

The backup camera on my 2024 honda CRV switches to black and white in hot weather. Depending on how hot, it may either stay black and white or rapidly switch back and forth. Not only is this a distraction while backing up but the washed out black and white image makes it much harder to differentiate between the roadway and objects in it. The issue has been confirmed by my local dealership and they told me replacing parts does not fix the issue. There is no known fix at this time. I switch to relying entirely on my mirrors when this happens but this does reduce overall visibility, especially for small objects and children.

In November 2024 I received the recall notice for our 2024 Honda CR-V power steering, Honda Campaign number QJT. I called our dealership on December 2, 2024 and was told they were not scheduling the repairs at the time and they took my information and said I would be contacted by them when scheduling takes place. I waited and didn't hear back. Today, January 8, 2025 I called to inquire. I was told they are scheduling the repairs in November 2025! Way past the sixty days from the date of first contact. My complaint is that this recall is not being made a priority from Penske Honda, Indianapolis Indiana. Any safety recall should be repaired in a timely fashion.

I have been experiencing a recurring issue with my new CR-V. Since I purchased it, water has been leaking into the vehicle during heavy rain. The leak occurs inside the car, at the lower left corner near the driver's side. I have brought the vehicle twice to the local Honda dealership, but they have been unable to identify or resolve the issue.

This vehicle has a rearview camera which should be color full time. 95% of the time the camera is black and white which makes it difficult to see whats behind you.This is a known problem to Honda. A simple google search shows multiple people with the same problem. I have spoke with Honda in California which is where you call with complaints, but all they say is they know there is a problem but the camera manufacturer needs to come up with a fix..i have spoken with someone from there directly at least 6-12 times. I bugged them enough that they replaced the rear view camera which they knew wouldn't work and it didn't. Reverse camera will go black and white from time to time. I had recorded a video of this incident and showed it to Honda, but they wanted to charge me $180 to diagnose the issue. I was not willing to pay that as the car is still under warranty.

Drivers side mirror cracked. No contact was made with anything, it just cracked. Honda would not cover as part of warranty. It created a huge safety concern as the visual out of this mirror was on two different planes and you could not see clearly to make a lane change. I did have it replaced but had to pay for the replacement. With this car being less that a year old, and how it cracked spontaneously I felt that should have been a covered warranty replacement. This issue is currently being investigated for a class action lawsuit. I have the mirror as evidence, if it was made with faulty materials. I've owned nothing short of 27 vehicles in my life, 7 of which were Honda's and I've never had this happen. I really think that the mirrors were a manufacturers defect on this car.

I fielded a recall warning in November 2024 related to faultypower steering gearbox worm wheel. Beginning in November 2024 through 02/04/25 I have contacted Honda of Harvey (home dealership) every month in an attempt to secure an appointment to rectify the defective part. Honda of Harvey continually promises to get back to us each time with no followup. I don't know what the problem with the dealership is experiencing to ignore a request to fix a national recall. Could you guys please attempt to expedite resolution of the failure to address the recall notification. I am worried for the safety of my vehicle and anyone using the vehicle. Factory Tailgate mounted rear backup camera shows a very soft image, and gets a washed out appearance when backing up in near total darkness. This is when it would be most useful, unfortunately, this is when it is useless. The lens has been cleaned so dirty films on the lens surface should not be an issue. I do not believe this meets up with standards set by the government, for the capabilies of a rear view camera.

1) The ventilator in front of the driver is malfunctioning above 40 MPH, thus causing a vibrating noise 2) Given how loud the vibrating noise is, the driver cannot hear an ambulance, police vehicle, or the passenger next to them when driving above 40 MPH 3) Yes, the problem was reproduced by the service center at Muller Honda in Highland Park, Illinois 4) Yes, the vehicle was inspected by Muller Honda. Initially, we thought the source of the issue was a defective windshield. However, after the inspection, Muller Honda claims that it is the ventilator in front of the driver that is causing the issue. They tested another 2024 Honda CRV Hybrid and found that it is also experiencing the same issue, thus suggesting a fleet-wide defect 5) There were no warning lamps or messages suggesting that there is a problem

My brand new vehicle is in the dealership for the 5th time. 1st incidence was well under 6K miles. Upon diagnosis they changed all 4 fuel injectors and again my car broke last night. Lost power in the middle of the highway leaving me stranded on a deadly situation. It has power system charging issue in the dashboard with all the lights lit up. I no longer feel safer in this car.

The key fob unlocks ALL doors & the settings options does not give the option to just unlock the drivers door like it does on other models. Why? For me it's a safety issue. Dealer said to hit once to unlock just drivers door & twice to unlock all doors. They tried & it didn't work. They tried all the settings & that too didnt work. They were no help & said that's just how it was made. Poor choice for honda to leave out this model for this feature, yet give it to all their other models. For one person owning this, that's a safety issue for me.

Horn is not adequate as a warning mechanism for safety. A large number of owners are complaining about this issue. Honda knows the horn is inadequate but instead of providing a suitable horn for the vehicle they are selling an add on horn for customers to purchase through the parts department. The horn provided with the vehicle should be of sufficient volume to serve as a safety device. This is not acceptable.
