The contact owns a 2019 Honda Pilot. The contact stated that the vehicle was repaired for an unidentified NHTSA Campaign Number however, it failed to prevent a failure from occurring. The contact stated that while the key was in the ignition, the vehicle had failed to start and several unknown warning lights had illuminated on the instrument panel. The vehicle was towed to a local dealer where the fuel pump was replaced however the repair failed to prevent a failure. On another occasion; the contact stated while attempting to accelerate from a stop light intersection, the vehicle failed the accelerate while depressing the accelerator pedal and failed to switch gears into Neutral to push it out of the roadway. The vehicle was towed back to the same local dealer where it was diagnosed that the engine fuel pump needed to be replaced again however, the warranty was expired. The vehicle was repaired out of pocket. In addition, the contact was adamant that the failure reoccur every 2 years after repairs. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure.
