I HAVE A 2008 NISSAN ROGUE. HAVE HAD IT LESS THAN A YEAR. 3 DAYS AGO, WITHOUT WARNING, THE TRANSMISSION STARTED SHAKING AND JERKING WHEN I WAS TAKING OFF FROM A RED LIGHT ON THE WAY TO TAKE MY DAUGHTER TO SCHOOL. PULLED OFF THE HIGHWAY AND SAT A COUPLE MINS, SINCE I WASNT SURE WHAT WAS HAPPENING. AS I TRIED TO PULL BACK ONTO THE HIGHWAY THE ROGUE WOULDNT GO. HAD TO HAVE IT TOWED BACK HOME. HAD A TECHNICIAN PUT MY VEHICLE ON A COMPUTER. THE TRANSMISSION IS OUT OF IT.
BOUGHT CAR IN 2012 WITH 64,000 MILES. IN OCTOBER OF 2017 , WITH 121,000 MILES NOTICED A GRINDING NOISE WHEN TAKING OFF TOOK TO NISSAN DEALERSHIP , WAS INFORMED THAT TRANSMISSION WAS BAD. REPLACED TRANSMISSION FOR $3700. IN JUNE OF 2019 WITH 138,000 MILES STARTED HAVING A VIBRATION IN THE FRONT WHEN TAKING OFF IN BETWEEN 1500 AND 2500 RPM WAS TOLD THAT TRANSMISSION WAS SEVERELY DAMAGED IN THE INSIDE, THE PUMP WAS NOT WORKING AND METAL SHAVINGS. I AM WITHOUT A JOB AND HAD TO TAKE MY SEVERANCE PAY TO PAY $4,107 TO REPLACE ANOTHER TRANSMISSION. THAT DID NOT INCLUDE THE RIGHT TIE ROD THAT I CONSTANTLY HAVE TO REPLACE WHICH SEEMS TO GO OUT EVERY YEAR. FIXING BOTH LOWER CONTROL ARMS AND THE REAR SUSPENSION AT OVER $1200.00 THE WEEK BEFORE THE TRANSMISSION. THIS CAR IS WELL TAKEN CARE OF OIL CHANGES EVERY 3,000 MILES AND CONSTANT UPKEEP.
VEHICLE RUNS O K AT FIRST, AFTER 6 OR 7 STOPS AT LIGHTS OR STOP SIGNS OR FOR OTHER REASONS, WHEN YOU STEP ON THE GAS THERE IS NO RESPONSE, THE ENGINE IS STILL RUNNING, BUT THE CAR WONT GO, SOMETIMES IT WILL HESITATE AND THEN TAKE OFF QUICKLY, WHICH IS ALSO DANGEROUS.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2008 NISSAN ROGUE. WHILE DRIVING 20 MPH, THE VEHICLE JERKED WHEN THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL WAS DEPRESSED. THERE WERE NO WARNING INDICATORS ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHO DIAGNOSED THAT THE CONTINUOUS VARIABLE TRANSMISSION FAILED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED AND DID NOT ASSIST. THE DEALER WAS NOT NOTIFIED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 136,000.
CVT TRANSMISSION FAILURE. AT 86000 MILES. I WAS ON STREET AND HEARD A GRINDING NOISE AND IT JUST POPPED. IT LOST POWER NO ACCELERATION. I LUCKILY COASTED TO A DIRT ROAD WHERE AS SOON AS I TURNED IT STOPPED. WOULD NOT GO. HAD IT TOWED TO DEALERSHIP WHERE THEY'VE HAD FOR 7 DAYS SO FAR. I'M OUT 445$ ON RENTAL CAR SO FAR. THEY PAY FOR TRANSMISSION BUT 300+ OTHER STUFF I HAVE TO PAY. SO I'M OUT 800+ $ FRANKLY I DONT REALLY HAVE. I KNOW COULD BE WORSE BUT THIS IS UNEXPECTED $ I HAD TO PAY PLUS KEEP UP ON REGULAR BILL'S. NOT RIGHT.

THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO ZIMBRICK NISSAN (2302, 5330 HIGHWAY CROSSING BOULEVARD, MADISON, WISCONSIN 53718, (608)-663-1122) ON FEBRUARY 12, 2016 WITH 117,000 MILES TO HAVE THE TRANSMISSION REPAIRED PER THE MANUFACTURER WARRANTY PROGRAM. THE CONTACT DID NOT HAVE THE INFORMATION ON THE PART THAT WAS REPLACED. THE REPAIR DID NOT CORRECT THE FAILURE. WHILE DRIVING 60 MPH, THE TRANSMISSION JERKED AND THE VEHICLE DECELERATED TO 40 MPH. THE CHECK ENGINE INDICATOR ILLUMINATED WHILE THE FAILURE OCCURRED. THE CONTACT WAS ABLE TO COAST THE VEHICLE ONTO THE ROAD SHOULDER AND ATTEMPTED TO RESTART THE VEHICLE, BUT WAS UNSUCCESSFUL. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO THE CONTACT'S RESIDENCE AND THEN BACK TO ZIMBRICK NISSAN ON NOVEMBER 10, 2017 WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE TRANSMISSION FAILED. THE DEALER ADVISED THAT THE TRANSMISSION NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS CONTACTED AND PROVIDED CASE NUMBER: 85077. THE MANUFACTURER STATED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS OVER THE REPAIR MILEAGE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 137,000.
NISSAN ROGUE 2008 WAS BOUGHT IN 2008 SINCE BEGINNING DURING UPHILL DRIVE IN SUMMER CAR STARTS STALLING ON FREEWAY. THIS PROMPTED NISSAN TO CHANGE CVT ON 10/15/2013 AND AGAIN ON 10/10/15. IT LOOKS LIKE CVT IS GETTING HEATED WITH NO COOLING SUPPORT. ON A HIGHWAY , VEHICLE STARTS LOOSING POWER AND PUTTING OCCUPANT OF THE VEHICLE IN DANGER.
"TAKATA RECALL" I'VE BEEN HEARING MANY COMPLAINTS ABOUT THE TRANSMISSION ON THESE VEHICLE I NEVER BELIEVED IT UNTIL IT HAPPENED TO ME. I HAVE AN 2008 NISSAN ROGUE AND ONE DAY WHILE DRIVING I HERD A LOUD BANG SOUND AFTER THAT THE VEHICLE STOPED MOVING. COME TO KNOW IT THE TRANSMISSION PROBLEM THAT I HAVE BEEN HEARING HAPPENED TO MY VEHICLE TOO. THE TRANSMISSION IS FROZED UP VEHICLE WONT MOVE AND I CANT AFFORD TO FIX OR EVEN BUY A NEW TRANSMISSION. PLEASE IF POSSIBLE I NEED NISSAN TO CONSIDER THIS AND FIX IT THE VEHILCE ONLY HAS 118,000 MILES AND I NEED MY VEHICLE TO WORK TO TRANSPORT FROM SCHOOL AND WORK.
TRANSMISSION IS FAILED NOW AND NOT OPERATING.
DRIVING BACK FROM SEATTLE AREA, CAR WAS ON HWY 2 IN WASHINGTON STATE, WHEN IT STOPPED FORWARD MOVEMENT. ENGINE STILL RUNNING, BUT NO FORWARD MOVEMENT, AND FLUID AND SMOKE COMMIMG OUT OF REAR END. BARELY GOT TO A SAFE SPOT AND PULLED OVER. CALLED INSURANCE CO. FOR TOW. HAD HOURS OF TRYING TO GET A TOW AFTER HOURS. TOOK CAR (ON A CAR CARRIER ) TO MY MECHANIC. HE DIAGNOSES IT AS TRANSMISSION. HE STATES IT NEEDS A WHOLE NEW TRANSMISSION. HAVE ONLY 117953 MILES ON IT. MAYBE STILL UNDER NISSAN WARRENTY...MAYBE.
CAR WAS MAKING NOISE, HAD NISSAN DIAGNOSE IT AND WAS FOUND TO BE TRANMISSION
THE TRANSMISSION ON MY 2008 NISSAN ROGUE IS FAILING DUE TO OVERHEATING.THE OVERHEATING CAUSES THE TRANSMISSION TO FAIL AND THE VEHICLE LOSES POWER. I'VE BEEN TOLD THAT EVEN IF I REPLACE THE TRANSMISSION, AT $4000, THE NEW ONE WILL LIKELY FAIL AS WELL. I'M TOLD THAT THE TRANSMISSION IS OVERHEATING BECAUSE THE COOLING FAN IS NOT POWERFUL ENOUGH. I'M ALSO BEING TOLD THAT THIS IS A KNOWN ISSUE WITH NISSAN BUT THEY WILL NOT PROVIDE A CHEAPER FIX IN ORDER TO PROFIT FROM NISSAN OWNERS GETTING STUCK WITH A BILL FOR $4000 FOR A NEW TRANSMISSION. $4000 IS QUOTE FROM AAMCO TRANSMISSION REPLACEMENT FOR 2008 NISSAN ROGUE. PLEASE PROVIDE MORE ECONOMIC SOLUTION.

THE TRANSMISSION WAS FLUSHED, BUT THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED BACK TO CONYERS NISSAN 1420 IRIS DR SW, CONYERS, GA 30094 WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE TRANSMISSION HAD FAILED AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. HOWEVER, THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE VEHICLE WAS AGAIN TAKEN BACK TO CONYERS NISSAN WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE TRANSMISSION HAD AGAIN FAILED AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE AND STATED THAT THEY WOULD COVER HALF OF THE REPAIR COST. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 65,000.
ROAR AND GRINDING NOISE UNDER CAR BELIEVE TO BE TRANSMISSION / TRANSFER CASE OR BOTH. DRIVE GOOD SHIFTS GOOD RUNS GOOD. BELIEVE IF SOMETHING LOCKS UP IN THIS , IT COULD CAUSE A ACCIDENT BY COMING APART. CHECKING IT OUT FOUND LOTS OF OTHER WITH SAME PROBLEM. IF THEY KNOW OF THE DESIGN PROBLEM LOOK LIKE THEY COULD CORRECT OR REPLACE BAD PARTS. LOOK LIKE NISSAN DID NOT CARE ABOUT IT OR IF IT COULD CAUSE AN ACCIDEND AND PUT OUT A BAD DESIGN ANYWAY. WITH ALL THE COMPLAINS ON THE WEB, LOOKS LIKE NISSAN JUST PUSHING IT TO THE BACK AND WAITING ON TIME TO GO BY. THIS HAS BEEN GOING ON FOR ABOUT A YEAR AND HALF. JUST THINK IT WRONG!
YEARS BACK IWE HAVE DRIOVE OUR NISSAN 2008 TO A TRIP TO READING CA WE JUST HAVE BOUGHT THE CAR FROM A DEALER IN HAYWARD HANDA. WHILE WE WERE IN THE HILL CAR COULD CHANGE GEAR OR POWER WE WERE DRIVING 65 TO 70 MPR AND WENT DOWN TO 20 ON THE FREEWAY. VERY DANGEROUS SPECIALLY POOLING OVER AND HAVE THE CAR RELAX THIS WAS WHEN THE CAR HAD ONLY 70,000 MILES . WE LATER RECEIVED A LETTER FROM NISSAN THAT NEED TO RECALL AND UPDATE COMPUTER .WE TOOK IT IN AND MY HUSBAND COMPLAINED TO THEM THAT IT WAS MAKING A NOISE WHEN WE ACCELERATED AND HE ALSO MENTION THE FIRST TRIP AND SAID TO US EVERYTHING WAS OKAY . WE NEVER HAD A PROBLEM AFTER THAT MY HUSBAND ONLY DRIVE IT TO WORK AND HOME. WE RECENTLY TOOK CAR TO OREGON SAME ROUTE READING AND AS JEW ARE HITTING THE HILL SAME PROBLEM HAPPEN. I INVESTIGATED IT THIS HAPPEN TO THIS CAR AND A LOT OF OTHER CUSTOMERS THAT HAVE THIS CAR HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM CALL CUSRTSERVICE AND REFER US TO CONSUMER AFFFAIR WE ARE NOW SPEAKING TO A COSUMER AFFAIR REPRESENTATIVE THEY MADE US PAY TWICE A DIAGNOSTIC IN OREGON NOW IN CALIFORNIA AND I'M PENDING WHAT THEY ARE GOING TO DO OR HELP ME WITH THIS CAR. MY CAR NOW HAS 123000 THEY HAVE A EXTENDED THEIR WARRANTY TO 120000 . MY PROBLEM WITH NISSAN IS THAT THEY KNOW ABOUT THIS PROBLEM WE HAVE TAKEN THE CAR IN INTO THEIR DEALERSHIP BEFORE THEY SAID IT WAS FINE AND IF I KNEW ABOUT THERE EXTENDED WARRANTY I WOULD HAVE TAKEN MY CAR IN. NOW THE SECOND DIAGNOSTIC IN CALIFORNIA THAT I HAVE TO PAY 160 THEY SAID THAT I NEED NEW TRANSMISSION AND PENDING IN HOW THEY GOING TO HELP ME. THIS NOT ONLY IT WAS DANGEROUS BECAUSE I HAVE MY 8 MONTH DAUGHTER AND MY SON IN THE CAR AND HAVE IT STOP AND ONLY GO 20 MPR IN A HIGHWAY WHERE TRUCKS ARE PASSING FAST. AND ALSO STOP EVERY 20 MIN IN THE SIDE OF THE ROAD TO LET CAR COOL DOWN. I HOPE THEY CAN DO SOMETHING BEFORE A FAMILY LOSES THERE LIFE FOR A NEGLECTED CAR THAT NISSAN
CAR WILL LOOSE ACCELERATION WHEN DRIVING ON A FLAT HIGHWAY FOR NO KNOWN REASON, IT WILL GO FROM 70 MPH TO 30 PMH AND STRUGGLE TO MOVE. PRESSING ACCESLERATOR IS LIKE STEPPING ON AIR. GOING UP A SLIGHT INCLINE CAR WILL LOOSE ACCELERATION, AFTER 20-30 MILES DRIVEN WILL LOOSE ACCELERATION, AT STOP SIGNS, RED LIGHTS WILL LOOSE ACCELERATION WHEN GOING FROM BRAKES TO ACCELERATION NOTHING WILL HAPPEN CAR WILL NOT MOVE. CAR HAS BEEN DRIVEN LESS THAN 5K MILES SINCE PURCHASED USED FROM DEALERSHIP. ALSO CANNOT USE OVERDRIVE MODE, ENGINE NOISE IS VERY LOUD AND GRINDING ROUGH SOUNDS ARE HEARD .IF USING CRUISE CONTROL ACCELERATION ISSUES PLUS ENGINE SOUND WILL BOTH TURN UP AT SAME TIME. THIS IS BOTH HIGHWAY DRIVING, CITY STREET DRIVING AND ALWAYS WHEN CAR IS IN MOTION.
AFTER DRIVING FOR A WHILE, MY NISSAN CVT TRANSMISSION STOPS WORKING PROPERLY. WHEN I TAKE OFF FROM A STOP AT A LIGHT OR INTERSECTION, THE CAR INITIALLY TAKES OFF FOR A FEW FEET, BUT THEN THE TRANSMISSION STALLS, AND THE CAR LITERALLY CREEPS THROUGH THE INTERSECTION AT A SNAILS PACE. VERY DANGEROUS WHEN IT OCCURS IN A BUSY INTERSECTION. YOU DO NOT KNOW IT IS HAPPENING UNTIL YOU ARE ALREADY IN THE INTERSECTION AS IT FEELS NORMAL WHEN YOU FIRST HIT THE GAS, AND THEN IT GOES INTO WHAT IS BEST DESCRIBED AS A VERY LOW GEAR. SOMEONE IS GOING TO DIE FROM THIS. NISSAN IS AWARE OF THIS ISSUE AND EXTENDED ITS WARRANTY ON THE CVT TO 10 YEARS AND 120,000 MILE, BUT NEVER ISSUED A RECALL THAT I AM AWARE. UNFORTUNATELY, THIS ISSUE DID NOT OCCUR WITH MY VEHICLE UNTIL AFTER THE MILEAGE STATED. IT MAY HAVE TO DO WITH TRANSMISSION FLUID TEMPERATURE AND A FAIL SAFE MODE. THERE IS DISCUSSION OF SUCH ON THE INTERNET.
VEHICLE GOES INTO LIMP MODE WITHOUT A WARNING INDICATOR. WILL NOT GO ABOVE 2500 RPM IN TOP GEAR. THIS COMES AND GOES AND ONLY HAPPENS IN HIGH GEAR. THIS WAS TWICE IN ONE DAY ON A HIGHWAY. IT STOPPED AFTER THE VEHICLE STOPPED AND RESTED FOR A FEW MINUTES. THE LOWER GEARS WORK NORMAL.

I WAS LUCKY I WAS NOT REAR ENDED BY THE CARS BEHIND ME. I HAD MY CAR TOWED TO THE DEALER. THE DIAGNOSIS WAS INTERNAL TRANSMISSION FAILURE. I ALSO HAD THE SAME DIAGNOSIS BACK IN 2013 WITH A WHISTLING AND KNOCKING SOUND. IT WAS CALLED A CVT PROBLEM BUT IN 2013 IT WAS STILL UNDER EXTENDED WARRANTY SO A NEW TRANSMISSION WAS PUT IN FREE OF CHARGE. THIS TIME I AM ASK TO PAY FOR A TRANSMISSION OUT OF POCKET THAT I KNOW IS DEFECTIVE AND IT WILL CAUSE A SERIOUS ACCIDENT ONE DAY. MY CAR IS AT HUDSON NISSAN CHARLESTON SC 29406 WITH A PRICE TAG OF $5101.00.
THE 2008 NISSAN ROGUE WE PURCHASED IN MARCH 2009 HAS EXPERIENCED CONTINUAL CVT TRANSMISSION FAILURES. THE FIRST FAILURE WAS MAY 2009 AND THE CVT WAS REPLACED. THE PART WAS FOUND TO BE MALFUNCTIONING AFTER DETERMINING THE VEHICLE WAS NOT SHIFTING PROPERLY AND WAS EXPERIENCING HIGH RPMS WHILE DRIVING. THE CVT WAS REPLACED AGAIN IN APRIL 2014 AFTER LOSING FUNCTIONALITY IN A POTENTIALLY DANGEROUS SITUATION. THE FAILURE OF THE TRANSMISSION OCCURRED WHILE TRAVELING AT HIGH SPEEDS ON THE EXPRESSWAY AT WHICH POINT THE VEHICLE SUDDENLY EXPERIENCED HEIGHTENED RPMS, BEGAN DECELERATING AND WOULD NOT ACCELERATE GREATER THAN 20MPH. WE SAFELY EXITED THE EXPRESSWAY AT AN APPROACHING EXIT AND COASTED TO A NISSAN DEALERSHIP LESS THAN THREE BLOCKS FROM THE EXPRESSWAY EXIT. NISSAN RECENTLY ALERTED US THAT THE CURRENT CVT TRANSMISSION IN OUR VEHICLE WILL NEED TO BE REPLACED AGAIN DESPITE HAVING ONLY 20,000 MILES SINCE THE REPLACEMENT IN 2014. NISSAN HAS DECLINED TO COVER THIS FAULTY PART IN THE VEHICLE AND HAS OFFERED INSTEAD TO PROVIDE A LONGER WARRANTY IF WE PURCHASE A BRAND NEW VEHICLE INSTEAD. IF THE CVT FAILS IN THIS VEHICLE, IT WILL HAVE BEEN THE THIRD TRANSMISSION DURING OUR OWNERSHIP OF THE VEHICLE, REQUIRING A FOURTH TO BE INSTALLED.

THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT DEALER WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE VEHICLE NEEDED NEW TIRES. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED, BUT THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO ANOTHER INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE TRANSMISSION WAS DEFECTIVE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 115,000. THE VIN WAS NOT PROVIDED.
IT'S BEEN GOING ON FOR A YEAR NOW. THE DEALERSHIP I BOUGHT THE CAR FROM COULDN'T FIGURE OUT THE PROBLEM. THE CAR REVS UP WITH NO APPLIED ACCELERATION. IT WILL SLOW DOWN TO 45 MPH AND I'LL HAVE TO PULL OFF THE ROAD CUT IT OFF AND RESTART THE CAR AND IT'LL STRAIGHTEN OUT FOR ANOTHER 30-45 MILES AND REPEAT. IT'S PRETTY DANGEROUS BC THE FIRST TIME IT HAPPENED I WAS ON THE INTERSTATE. I'VE READ A LOT OF FORUMS AND IT SEEMS TO BE AN ONGOING PROBLEM IN MOST NISSANS. NOT JUST THE ROGUE. I FEEL AS IF THIS PROBLEM SHOULD BE ON IMMEDIATE RECALL.
I WAS DRIVING IN HIGHWAY CONDITIONS (55MPH IN 55MPH ZONE) WHEN THE CAR SUDDENLY DECELERATED AND WOULD NOT GET ABOVE 30MPH. CARS BEHIND ME HAD TO SWERVE AROUND ME IN ORDER TO GET AROUND ME WITH THE SUDDEN DECELERATION. I WAS ABLE TO MAKE IT OFF THE HIGHWAY & ONTO LOCAL ROADS. EVERY TIME I HAD TO ACCELERATE AFTER A STOP LIGHT OR STOP SIGN, THE CAR WOULD NOT INITIALLY ACCELERATE DESPITE ME PUSHING FULL DOWN ON THE ACCELERATOR. THIS REPEATEDLY ALMOST RESULTED IN MY BEING HIT BY CARS BEHIND ME. I WAS ABLE TO SLOWLY MAKE IT HOME. I TOOK THE CAR TO THE DEALER I BOUGHT IT FROM, AND WAS TOLD THAT THE CVT TRANSMISSION HAD FAILED. I WAS ALSO TOLD THAT I AM BEYOND THE WARRANTY EXTENSION (ABOUT 9,000 MILES PAST THE 120,000 EXTENSION), SO I WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE COST OF REPLACING THE TRANSMISSION. I DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY THIS HAS NOT BEEN A RECALL WITH THE # OF COMPLAINTS ALL ABOUT THE SAME ISSUE. ALSO, IF THE MANUFACTURER HAS EXTENDED THE WARRANTY, DOESN'T THAT MEAN THEY MUST BE AWARE THAT IT IS A WIDESPREAD PROBLEM?! IT IS SO DANGEROUS TO BE DRIVING AT 55 AND SUDDENLY WITHOUT WARNING DECELERATE SIGNIFICANTLY. IT IS A WONDER THAT NO ONE HAS BEEN HURT (& UNFORTUNATELY PROBABLY ONLY A MATTER OF TIME BEFORE SOMEONE IS). THIS APPEARS TO BE WIDESPREAD ISSUE WITH THIS YEAR & MODEL OF ROGUE.
VEHICLE STARTED WITH A WHINING NOISE WHICH EVENTUALLY WAS FOLLOWED BY LOSS OF SPEED/POWER. ACCELERATION AFTER STOPPING WAS REDUCED TO A CRAWL, ALSO GRINDING NOISES AND SHAKING AND VEHICLE WANTING TO STALL. I AM NOW UNABLE TO DRIVE AS I AM FEARFUL OF DEVASTATING CONSEQUENCES. THIS CAR WAS BOUGHT NEW AND STILL OWE $6500, AND A NEW TRANSMISSION RUNNING APPROX $3000 THE EXPENSE DOES NOT MAKE SENSE. NISSAN KNOWINGLY SOLD VEHICLES TO CONSUMERS TO FILL THEY'RE POCKETS PUTTING ALL AT RISK AND FAIL TO SUPPORT THE DEFECTIVE PRODUCT!
I HAVE A 2008 NISSAN ROUGE I ALSO HAVE PROBLEMS WITH TANS GOING UP HILL ITS LIKE IT QUITS PULLING AND NOW THE CHECK ENGINE LIT IS ON AND IT WANT CHANGE LIKE IT SHOULD TOOK IT THE DEALER HAD IT IN THE SHOP BEFORE TWICE AND THEY SAID IT FIXED IT WAS LEAKING FLUID FROM THE TRANS. AND NOW THIS HAPPENS GUEST SOME ONE HAVE TO GET HEART OR KILLED BEFORE SOME ONE MAKES NISSAN FIXES THE PROBLEMS WITH THE VEHICLES WHEN THEY STOP WORKING THEY OUR A PROBLEM WITH IT I SEE ALL OF THE COMPLAINTS AND STILL NO ONE HAS DONE ANYTHING WHY.
