Refused to fix the issue because the OBD reader did not provide any codes OBD reader is not sending any signals, but there is power I called Sam’s Ford to send a service to fix the recall but told me they will not fix the issues because no codes were being provided And the check engine light is active
Vehicle's engine power has cut off both while driving and upon turning ignition off to where nothing electrical is operable including display to dome lights. Car has self reset anywhere from 2 min up to 25 min Car is disabled and could result in injury if driving in an unsafe area with other obstacles and(or) traffic. Unknown of dealer was able to replicate. PCM was refreshed after checking car for error codes. Check engine light did show a total of 2 time out if the estimated dozen occur ancestors like this.
The contact owns a 2019 Ford Mustang. The contact stated that upon starting the vehicle, the instrument panel went blank. The vehicle was taken to two dealers however, the dealers were unable to duplicate the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was also notified of the failure and provided the same information as the dealers. Upon investigation, the contact linked the failure to NHTSA Campaign Number: 19V076000 (Electrical System). The failure mileage was approximately 8,000.
The short drop and bounce up on the drivers and passenger side windows continuously faults and fails to return to the proper position when the door is closed. There are thousand online with the same issue. I am now going to replace the passenger window motor for the third time since I cannot troubleshoot the issue any longer. The dealer has replaced the motor for the same issue and I am now out of warranty so I fix it myself. This seems to be a recurring issue on my car and for others with this generation mustang and should be addressed by Ford at this point Any assistance at this point would be greatly appreciated. Ahold not be happening as regularly as it is
Passenger door ajar on dash Then checked and seen door that was once completely closed had in fact unlocked itself and cracked open slightly after rolling over a normal bump on street. No one was in seat at the time but definitely could’ve put Passenger in danger or driver. Thankfully was not on freeway at the time. Problem has occurred 3 times so far in a two week period. Issue will be reported to dealer on the matter no later than 05/26/23 No other personnel has been informed, came to immediately alert nhtsa on the matter.
The contact owns a 2019 Ford Mustang. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the instrument cluster went blank for several seconds. The vehicle was taken to the dealer; however, the vehicle was not diagnosed nor repaired. The dealer informed the contact that there was no recall associated with the VIN. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and a case was opened. The contact related the failure to NHTSA Campaign Number: 19V076000 (Electrical System) however, the VIN was not included in the recall. The failure mileage was approximately 45,500.
The instrument panel, which is entirely digital with no actual dials or needles, stopped working and went totally black for a short period of time while I was driving.
Heated/cooled driver's seat stopped functioning due to a shorted or overloaded wiring harness causing a small electrical fire at the harness.
In the last 5 months I have had at least 3 incidents where the electronic dash goes blank, while driving. So far it had come back on within a short time. I took it to the dealer and they said they tried reprogramming it (but also said they found nothing wrong). The dealer said that reprogramming didn't fix it so they ordered a part. That was March 22, 2022 and the last time I heard anything from Brighton Ford - no idea if they ordered the part or did anything and no contact in over a month.
when i start my car the digital dash would just be black so i cant see how fast im going at all
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2019 FORD MUSTANG. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE STARTING THE VEHICLE, THE LCD DASHBOARD FAILED INTERMITTENTLY TO LIGHT UP. EXCEL FORD OF CARTHAGE (2228 SOUTHEAST LOOP, CARTHAGE, TX 75633) AND THE MANUFACTURER WERE MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE BUT PROVIDED NO ASSISTANCE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 12,480.
ELECTRONIC DASH PANEL GOES BLANK. VEHICLE ONLY HAS 1800 MILES . IT HAS HAPPENED SEVERAL TIMES. SEEMS TO BE ONLY AT NIGHT AFTER STOPPING ON AN ERRAND AND THEN GETTING BACK IN AND RESTARTING. HAVE HAD IN A FORD DEALERSHIP AND THEY STATED THEY CAN'T FIND ANYTHING WRONG. THERE WAS A SAFETY RECALL ON THIS PROBLEM FOR MUSTANGS MANUFACTURED IP TO 1/19. MINE WAS BUILT IN 4/19.
DIGITAL DASH GOES BLANK FOR FEW SECONDS WHILE DRIVING. DEALER CAN'T REPLICATE THE ISSUE AND SAYS THERE'S NOTHING THEY CAN DO.
CAR WOULD NOT TURN OVER. WHEN I PUSHED THE BRAKE DOWN TO PUSH THE START BUTTON THE BRAKES MADE A WEIRD NOISE AND IT SAID BRAKE SYSTEM FAILED ACROSS DASH. ALL THE LIGHTS CAME ON AND WOULD TRY TO START OVER BUT WOULD NOT. THE BRAKES LOCKED UP AND THEN THE CAR COMPLETELY DIED DUE TO THE HEAD LIGHT STARTED FLASHING AND COULDN'T TURN THEM OFF. THE CAR WOULD NOT LOCK OR UNLOCK. COULD NOT POP OPEN THE HOOD OR TRUNK. *TR
PASSENGER POWER WINDOW ROLLS DOWN WITHOUT ANY BUTTONS BEING PUSHED (UNCOMMANDED). WHEN ROLLED UP BY EITHER PASSENGER OR DRIVER'S BUTTON WILL ROLL DOWN BY ITSELF AGAIN WITHING 30-60 SECONDS, SOMETIMES IMMEDIATELY. ONLY WAY TO KEEP WINDOW UP IS BY CONSTANTLY HOLDING EITHER BUTTON IN THE UP POSITION. DOES THIS AT ANY SPEED AND ROAD CONDITION EVERY TIME IT IS DRIVEN. TOOK TO SAVANNAH FORD DEALER (JC LEWIS FORD) THEY WILL REPLACE THE PASSENGER WINDOW ELECTRIC MOTOR. SHOULD NOT BE HAPPENING ON A CAR BOUGHT IN OCT. 19 WITH LESS THAN 6K MILES.
MY ICP IN MY MUSTANG WILL RANDOMLY BLANK OUT WHILE DRIVING. THIS HAS HAPPENED WHILE BRAKING AND DRIVING DOWN THE HIGHWAY. THE CAR STAYS RUNNING, BUT I HAVE NO INFORMATION. SINCE IT IS A DIGITAL SCREEN I LOSE MY SPEEDOMETER, TACHOMETER AND EVERYTHING ELSE ON THE ICP. IT WILL BOOT BACK UP AFTER 10 SECONDS AND WORK PROPERLY.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2019 FORD MUSTANG. ONCE THE VEHICLE WAS PLACED IN REVERSE, THE BACKUP CAMERA FAILED TO OPERATE. SIMULTANEOUSLY, THE TRACTION CONTROL, CROSS TRAFFIC SYSTEM FAULT, DRIVE MODE SELECTION NOT AVAILABLE, HILL START ASSIST, ROD SUSPENSION, AND BLIND SPOT SYSTEM FAULT OFF WARNING INDICATORS ILLUMINATED. THE CONTACT TOOK THE VEHICLE TO CROSSROADS FORD LINCOLN, INC (1070 VERSAILLES RD, FRANKFORT, KY 40601, 502-695-1990) AND WAS INFORMED THAT THE VEHICLE HAD A DEFECTIVE BATTERY. THE BATTERY WAS REPLACED, BUT THE FAILURE CONTINUED. THE CONTACT TOOK THE VEHICLE BACK TO THE SAME DEALER ON MULTIPLE OCCASIONS; HOWEVER, THE FAILURE PERSISTED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURES AND WAS INFORMED THAT A REGIONAL MANAGER WOULD CALL HIM BACK TO PROVIDE ADDITIONAL ASSISTANCE. THE VEHICLE HAD NOT BEEN REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 166.
INSTRUMENT CLUSTER IS BLANK UPON START-UP. THIS VEHICLE SHOULD BE INCLUDED IN THE NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER 19V076000. AT VEHICLE START-UP, THE INSTRUMENT PANEL CLUSTER ASSEMBLY SOMETIMES MISFUNCTIONS AND SHOWS A BLANK DISPLAY. THIS HAS HAPPENED 3 TIMES SINCE I HAVE OWNED MY CAR FOR ONLY 1 MONTH. I BROUGHT IT IN FOR SERVICE ON 6/4/19 AND WALKER FORD SUPPOSEDLY UPDATED THE INSTRUMENT PANEL CLUSTER SOFTWARE TO FIX THIS PROBLEM BUT IT HAPPENED AGAIN AND ON 6/18 UPON STARTING THE CAR, THE INSTRUMENT PANEL WAS BLANK. THE VEHICLE WAS STATIONARY IN MY GARAGE. I GOT IN IT TO GO TO WORK AND STARTED IT AND THE PANEL WAS BLANK. I TURNED CAR OFF AND WENT INSIDE THE HOUSE AND CALLED FORD. I THEN WENT BACK INTO CAR AND RESTARTED IT AND IT WAS FINE. IT WAS WORKING AGAIN.
